Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park, Tanzania's first national park established in 1960, is located just outside Arusha town. It covers an area of 137 square kilometers and features diverse landscapes including the Ngurdoto Crater, Momella Lakes, and the slopes of Mount Meru.

The park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, with over 400 bird species, and mammals such as giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, and the rare black-and-white colobus monkeys. It's an ideal destination for day trips from Arusha, offering hiking, canoeing, and wildlife viewing.
