Materuni Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction located near the village of Materuni on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. The waterfall cascades down approximately 80 meters (262 feet) into a refreshing pool below, creating a spectacular sight surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and coffee plantations.
The journey to the waterfall takes you through the beautiful Chagga villages and coffee farms, where you can learn about the local culture and traditional farming practices. The hike to the waterfall is moderately challenging and takes about 45 minutes to an hour, passing through dense forests filled with exotic birds and wildlife. At the base of the waterfall, visitors can swim in the cool, crystal-clear waters and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this natural paradise.
